It seems that if you put the word "baby" in front of something, then the price of it immediately doubles. That's why I think cheap baby clothes, cheap nursery furniture and cheap equipment for babies are so difficult to find on the high street.

Before my first baby was born a few years ago, my husband and I spent an entire morning in Mothercare and bought everything we could possibly need for our new baby. We bought vests, sleepsuits, changing mats, a cotbed, a special chair for breastfeeding, a nappy bin, cot linen, a pram, a car seat, a whole heap of baby toys, a steriliser….. the list was almost endless and my husband left the shop with a nasty stabbing pain in his wallet!

When our second baby was due, I decided we would do things a bit differently. Ok, so we had a lot of the essential baby items already left over from the first time. But there were still things we were going to need to buy, either because the originals had worn out or because they were too pink (our first baby was a girl and our second was going to be a boy).

On the advice of a friend, I started checking out online auction sites. I was a bit sceptical at first as I wasn't sure that I would find what I wanted. I was also a bit concerned about how worn out some of these second hand baby clothes and accessories might be. But I was pleasantly surprised to find a huge range of baby products being advertised by other mums and many of them were things that had never even been used.

The only problem I had was that it took me a little bit of time to find the best places to look for all the cheap baby clothes and baby toys and accessories that I wanted to buy. And that's why I set up this website - so as people like you who are looking for bargain baby products can find everything they need in one place.

Down the left hand side of your screen you'll find a menu that lets you browse all the different categories of essential baby items that you need. Just click on a heading and you'll see a list of all the items in that section which are currently available on eBay - the internet's leading auction site. If you want to narrow things down further, you'll find a list of subcategories on the left hand side under the main category heading.

So, for example, if you click on Baby Feeding, then you will see a list of items for sale in the middle of your screen and down the left hand side you'll find further subcategories such as bottle teats, breast pumps, baby bottles, baby feeding sets, etc.

If you are looking for a specific item for your baby, then you can use the search box at the top of the page.

When you've found something you want to bid on, just click on it and you'll be taken straight to eBay where you can find out more information about the item and place your bid. If you're not already an eBay user, don't worry - it is simple, easy and free to create an eBay account once you get to their site.

So, what are you waiting for? Get bidding and grab yourself some of the cheapest baby clothes and baby accessories on the internet.
